Fedokurash and 7th International Day of 

Sport for Development and Peace 2020 

to be celebrated digitally

Lausanne 6 April 2020 marks the seventh edition of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP) that will take place worldwide – and will be celebrated digital-only due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of the biggest initiatives for IDSDP, is Peace and Sport’s annual #WhiteCard digital campaign. It encourages people to take photos while holding a white card in symbolization of their commitment for peace through sport, and to share them online using the hashtag ‘#WhiteCard’. This year the campaign will be launched by the end of March and will focus on the theme “Behind each #WhiteCard, there is a story”. It will highlight the stories of individuals who have been positively impacted by sport.

“This year, we encourage everyone to mobilize digitally by using one’s creativity,” announced Joël Bouzou, President and Founder of Peace and Sport. The most important thing is to celebrate this international day and to recall the positive role of sport for development and peace.”

Fedokurash en el VII Día Internacional del Deporte para el Desarrollo y la Paz 2020 se celebrará digitalmente

Lausana  el 6 de abril de 2020 marca la séptima edición del Día Internacional del Deporte para el Desarrollo y la Paz (IDSDP) que tendrá lugar en todo el mundo y se celebrará solo en formato digital debido a la pandemia COVID-19.

Una de las iniciativas más importantes para IDSDP es la campaña digital anual #WhiteCard de Peace and Sport. Alienta a las personas a tomar fotos mientras sostienen una tarjeta blanca como símbolo de su compromiso por la paz a través del deporte, y a compartirlas en línea usando el hashtag "#WhiteCard". Este año, la campaña se lanzará a fines de marzo y se centrará en el

tema "Detrás de cada #WhiteCard, hay una historia". Destacará las historias de personas que han sido impactadas positivamente por el deporte.

Hoy en día, casi todos los países del mundo y todas las federaciones nacionales de Kurash estan afectadas por las

consecuencias de la pandemia mundial COVID-19.

Debido a estas circunstancias sin precedentes, la Asociación Internacional de Kurash esta obligada a anunciar el aplazamiento de todos los eventos y programas a nivel internacional, continental y nacional con el objetivo de contribuir a la lucha contra la propagación del

virus. 

Esta decisión es obligatoria para la implementación de todas las federaciones miembros de IKA estarán en vigor hasta nuevo aviso de IKA sujeto a la mejora de la situación de pandemia global. 

Le recomendamos que siga estrictamente las instrucciones de las autoridades sanitarias locales para garantizar que usted y su familia tengan salud y bienestar de sus miembros.

La Asociación Internacional de Kurash es inflexible en que esto no tiene precedentes y el tiempo difícil pasará muy pronto y todos podremos volver al flujo normal de vida.
Sin embargo, hoy es crucial poner la seguridad y la salud primero y dejar los eventos públicos de Kurash, concursos y entrenamientos conjuntos.

Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.- La Federacion Dominicana de Kurash, Fedokurash, lamenta profundamente el fallecimiento del Coronel del Ejercito Nacional de la República Dominicana quien en vida respondía al nombre de Kalil Hache Malkun.

El deceso del Coronel Hache Malkun, 88 años, victima del coronacirus enluta a la sociedad dominicana y de manera muy significativa al deporte por ser un consumado deportista y quien al momento de su deceso presidia el Consejo Directivo del Circulo Deportivo Militar de las Fuerzas Armadas y de la Policía Nacional.

Diferentes sectores han lamentado la ida del Coronel Hache Malkun por su trato afable y en especial en el Ejercito Nacional donde fue miembro por 42 años de esa institución castrense para ser ascendido postumamente al rango de General de Brigada Caballeria de Sangre

El Cororel Hache Malkun hijo de inmigrantes libaneses estuvo ingresado en el Hospital Ramón de Lara por varios días donde fue tratado por coronavirus para finalmente fallecer por complicaciones asociadas a sus condiciones de salud pre existentes.

KURASH de la República Dominicana recibió a la delegación de la República de Haití los días 30 de noviembre y 1 de diciembre 2019 a los Campeonatos Panamericanos realizados en San Cristóbal, República Dominicana los que fueron organizados por la Federación Dominicana de KURASH con el aval de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash donde la delegación Haitiana obtuvo importantes preseas panamericanas a la vez que se integro plenamente a las actividades continentales al mas alto nivel. KURASH de República Dominicana recibirá a la delegación haitiana de diez (10) personas en la ciudad de San Cristóbal para un Campamento de Entrenamiento, Arbitraje y competiciones del 1 al 7 de abril 2020 dentro de las actividades de Peace & Sport. KURASH de Haití y República Dominicana demostraron la hermandad de pueblos limítrofes en conjunción de esfuerzos para la instalación en ese país centroamericano de una disciplina marcial con elevados valores morales, éticos y sociales.
