San Cristóbal domina la puntuación final
Y es que el kurash que se practica en las estepas de Uzbekistán desde hace mas de 3500 años llego a Republica Dominicana para quedarse ya desde el 1999, o sea, un año después de fundada la International Kurash Association (IKA) como organismo rector de esta disciplina a nivel mundial.
El acto Inaugural inició con el desfile de los equipos participantes representando las diferentes asociaciones afiliadas a la Federación Dominicana de Kurash para luego escuchar las notas de nuestro glorioso himno nacional.
De inmediato el profesor Israel Caraballo Jiménez en su condición de presidente de la entidad federada dio las palabras de bienvenida seguido del doctor Eliseo Romero Domínguez quien es Director de Deportes para la Región Valdesia del Ministerio de Deportes.
Luego fue el momento para el desfile y juramento de los árbitros y jueces, encargados de impartir justicia en los diferentes combates de 55, 60, 66, 73, 81, 90 y mas de 100 kilogramos en la rama masculina, correspondió a Josías Vizcaíno el juramento de los atletas.
Los ganadores de medallas de oro fueron Erick Manuel Guerrero, José Ángel Díaz, Ángel Manuel Guerrero, Alex Sánchez, Benjamín Matos, Josías Vizcaíno, Junior Ramírez, Gabriel Vizcaíno y Emmanuel Uribe,
Por su parte los ganadores de medalla de plata fueron Marcos Pérez, Jahaziel Medina, Ángel Frías, Cristofer Soto, Alex Sánchez, Junior Mesa, Tommy Gamalier Soto y Ángel Miguel Encarnación,
Al finalizar los combates se procedió a la correspondiente premiación por parte de los señores Israel Caraballo Jiménez, Eliseo Romero, Jaime Casanova, Angry Reinoso y Franklin Pérez, entre otros.
La parte de pesaje, sorteo, manejo de la competición en el área deportiva estuvo a cargo de Juana Morban quien precisaba las informaciones que requerían los delegados técnicos de las respectivas asociaciones.
La Fedokurash está compuesta por las asociaciones de Azua, Ocoa, San Juan, San Cristóbal, Distrito Nacional, Provincia Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, Monte Plata, La Vega, Cotuí, Salcedo, Moca y La Vega, entre otra.
El Comité Ejecutivo de la Fedokurash está conformado con Israel Caraballo Jiménez, Alquimedes Ortiz, Jaime Casanova Martínez y Marcos Reyes Torres en las posiciones de presidente, vicepresidente, secretario, tesorero y vocal, respectivamente, quienes laboran en la preparación de un amplio Programa de Actividades para el próximo 2022.

San Cristóbal dominates the final score
San Cristóbal,
Dominican Republic.- The Kurash of the Dominican Republic restarted its
activities after the lethargy in which the Covid-19 pandemic plunged us into
sports activities throughout the national territory.
And it is that
the kurash that is practiced in the steppes of Uzbekistan for more than 3,500
years came to the Dominican Republic to stay since 1999, that is, a year after
the International Kurash Association (IKA) was founded as the governing body of
this discipline worldwide.
This time we developed the National Kurash Championships, female and male, held at
the Ciro Pérez
Sports Center in the city of San Cristóbal in the Dominican Republic with the
organization of the Kurash Association of the San Cristóbal Province (Asokusc)
and the endorsement of the Dominican Kurash Federation (Fedokurash), both
entities chaired by Professor Israel Caraballo Jiménez.
The Inaugural
act began with the parade of the participating teams representing the different
associations affiliated with the Dominican Kurash Federation and then
listening to the notes of our glorious national anthem.
Immediately,
Professor Israel Caraballo Jiménez in his capacity as president of the
federated entity gave the words of welcome followed by Dr. Eliseo Romero
Domínguez who is Director of Sports for the Valdesia Region of the Ministry of
Sports.
The engineer
Jaime Casanova Martínez, president of the Panamerican Kurash Union (PKU),
when speaking, said he was delighted by the restart of the activities of this
martial discipline in the country.
Then it was time
for the parade and swearing in of the referees and judges, in charge of
imparting justice in the different fights of 55, 60, 66, 73, 81, 90 and more
than 100 kilograms in the male branch, Josías Vizcaíno corresponded to the
athletes oath.
The gold medal

The Fedokurash

The Fedokurash
participated in the National Games of Monte Plata 2006 and Hermanas Mirabal
2018, in the same way in the IX School Sports Games Sports Monte Plata 2019, among
other important events.
The Executive
Committee of Fedokurash is made up of Israel Caraballo Jiménez, Alquimedes
Ortiz, Jaime Casanova Martínez and Marcos Reyes Torres in the positions of
president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and member, respectively, who
work in the preparation of a wide Program of Activities for the next 2022.
