6 SEPTEMBER- WORLD KURASH DAY
La Asociación Internacional de Kurash fue fundada el 06 de septiembre de 1998.
Kurash es el deporte nacional uzbeko con más de 3.500 años de antigüedad. Ningún historiador puede decir sin reservas cuando surgió exactamente este arte marcial.
Sin embargo, este único mensajero de las edades, manteniendo los valores nacionales eternos tiene un cumpleaños y se celebra el 6 de septiembre cuando se realizo el Congreso Constituyente celebrado en Tashkent fundando la Internacional Kurash Association (IKA) es decir en este día en 1998.
Mañana es de 16 años de la fecha del acontecimiento histórico y memorable que abierto camino de la arena del mundo para el estilo de deporte nacional indígena. Representantes de 28 países se reunieron en el día de septiembre de 1998 empapado con la atmósfera del aniversario del día de la independencia de nuestro Uzbekistán y votaron unánimemente para la fundación de la Asociación Internacional de Kurash y eligiendo a Islam Karimov como su primer presidente de honor.
Kurash llegó a ser popular en la arena mundial debido a la soberanía del estado en 1991 pues la independencia abrió una fuente inagotable público mundial de muy diversos valores históricos, culturales, espirituales nacionales y los valores deportivos. Uzbekistán demostró su actitud al patrimonio histórico de la nación y tiene el único conductor de valores nacionales propios al mundo iniciando la creación de la Asociación Internacional de Kurash.

Representatives of 28 countries gathered at that September day of 1998 soaked with the atmosphere of our Uzbekistan’s Independence Day anniversary voted unanimously for the foundation of International Kurash Association and elected Islam Karimov as its first honorable president.
