 FEDOKURASH CELEBRA EL DIA INTERNACIONAL DE LA MUJER 2022

Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.- En lo que representa una tradicion la Federacion Dominicana de Kurash, Fedokurash, se une a la celebracion del Dia Internacional de la Mujer en este 2022 resaltando el valor y la entereza de la mujer en la practica deportiva, como hija, esposa y madre.

Es de esta manera que cada 8 de marzo en el Dia Internacional de la Mujer millones de personas en los cinco continentes se manifiestan conmemeorando la lucha que libran las mujeres desde hace años por la igualdad de sus derechos.

Y es que este dia tiene significado desde 1975 pues a partir de ahi fue instituido por las Naciones Unidas (ONU) y que los Estados Unidos de Norteamerica no inicio su celebracion hasta 1994 a pesar de ser el origen del homenaje mundial.

Este año la  Fedokurash tuvo una celebracion muy significativa pues coincidio con un intercambio con su homologa de Haiti por lo que las femeninas recibieron el reconocimento de ambas Federaciones Nacionales Hermanas.

Por otra parte correspondio a las asociaciones de kurash en todo el territorio nacional resaltar este Dia Internacional de la Mujer en su papel en el area deportiva como atleta, entrenadora, arbitro, dirigente, en fin donde quiera que su valor, entereza y responsabilidad es necesario y donde se hace presente.

FEDOKURASH CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2022

 

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- In what represents a tradition, the Dominican Federation of Kurash, Fedokurash, joins the celebration of International Women's Day in 2022, highlighting the value and integrity of women in sports practice, as daughter, wife and mother.

It is in this way that every March 8 on International Women's Day, millions of people on five continents demonstrate commemorating the struggle that women have been waging for years for equal rights.

And it is that this day has meaning since 1975 because from there it was instituted by the United Nations (UN) despite the fact that the United States of America did not begin its celebration until 1994 despite being the origin of the world tribute.

This year the Fedokurash had a very significant celebration as it coincided with an exchange with its counterpart from Haiti, for which the women received recognition from both Sister National Federations.

On the other hand, it is up to the kurash associations throughout the national territory to highlight this International Women's Day in their role in the sports area as an athlete, coach, referee, leader, in short, wherever their courage, dedication and responsibility is necessary. and where it is present.
