IKA delegation visits FranceThe delegation of the International Kurash Association visited France from 5 to 9 March 2013. The delegation headed by the IKA President Mr. Yusupov visited Paris with inspection purposes of the IX World Senior Kurash Championships to be held from 23 to 28 October 2013. The French Kurash Federation won the right to host the world championships at the XIII Ordinary Congress of the IKA which was held in October 2012 in Bournemouth, Great Britain.

La delegación de la Internacional Kurash Association visitó Francia del 5 al 9 de marzo de 2013. La delegación encabezada por el Sr. Presidente de la IKA Yusupov visitó París con fines de inspección del IX Campeonato Mundial de Mayores de Kurash que se celebrará del 23-28 octubre de 2013. La Federación Francesa de Kurash ganó el derecho a organizar los campeonatos del mundo en el XIII Congreso Ordinario de la IKA, que se celebró en octubre de 2012 en Bournemouth, Gran Bretaña.

On March 6, the IKA delegation attended the meeting of the Organizing committee of the World championships held at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in France. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in France Mr. Ravshan Usmanov, and the President of the French Kurash Federation Mr. Bernard Cabos-Duhamel who presented the report about the preparation and technical conditions of the world championships.
El 6 de marzo, la delegación de IKA asistió a la reunión del Comité Organizador del Campeonato del Mundo celebrada en la Embajada de la República de Uzbekistán en Francia. On March 7, the IKA delegation visited the town of Epinay-sous-Senart, in the southern part of Paris which would be the venue of the world championships, had a meeting there with the Mayor office officials, inspected the competition venue and official hotels of the championships.

Then the delegation was received at the Ministry of sport of France, by the deputy minister Mrs. France Poret-Thumann and discussed the support and patronage of the Ministry to the world Kurash championships in France.

On March 8, Mr. Yusupov gave an interview to the leading French magazine covering sports and martial arts “l’Esprit du Judo”. The interview covered the topics related to the history and modern day promotion of Kurash, the activities of the IKA in the world, as well as the coming world senior championships in Paris.

El 8 de marzo, el Sr. Yusupov dio una entrevista a la revista líder francesa que cubre deportes y artes marciales "l'Esprit du Judo". En la entrevista se trataron los temas relacionados con la historia y la promoción moderna del Kurash, las actividades de la IKA en el mundo, así como los campeonatos del mundo de alto nivel a realizarse proximamente en París.
The last meeting of the visit took place at the National Olympic Committee of France, with the General manager of the NOC’s international relations department Mr. Olivier Lenglet. Mr. Yusupov informed the French NOC officials about the activities of the IKA and the worldwide promotion of Kurash, as well as about the preparation process to the world championships.
La última reunión de la visita se llevó a cabo en el Comité Olímpico Nacional de Francia, con el director general del CON departamento de relaciones internacionales con el Sr. Olivier Lenglet. Sr. Yusupov informó a las autoridades francesas NOC sobre las actividades de la IKA y la promoción mundial del Kurash, así como sobre el proceso de preparación para los campeonatos del mundo.
