La delegación de la Confederación de Kurash de Asia asiste a la reunión de OCA en Tailandia un año antes de los Juegos Asiáticos de Playa.

Exactamente dentro de un año a partir de ahora Tailandia será el anfitrión de la cuarta version de los Juegos Asiáticos de Playa, que se celebrará el 14-23 noviembre 2014.

Kurash fue confirmado el mes pasado como un deporte oficial en el programa oficial de la competición de los Juegos Asiáticos de Playa en Tailandia, junto con otros siete deportes.

La primera reunión OCA-PABGOC-TD en Phuket tendrá una duración de dos días y se concentrara en cuestiones técnicas y organizativas que se establecieron entre la OCA, Comité Organizador y técnicos delegados representantes de cada deporte participante.

La delegación KCA en Phuket está liderado por el Vicepresidente IKA y el Presidente de la Confederación Kurash de Asia Sr. Haider Farman (Kuwait), que representa al Consejo Olímpico de Asia en esta reunión.

Tailandia ha sido un firme defensor de los eventos OCA durante muchos años, y los tailandeses abrirá nuevas vías en 2014, cuando reciban a los Juegos Asiáticos de Playa populares por primera vez en el paraíso turístico de Phuket. Esta será la cuarta version de los Juegos Asiáticos de Playa organizados con el aval del Consejo Olímpico de Asia, después de Bali (Indonesia) en 2008, Muscat (Omán) en 2010 y Haiyang (China).

El lema de los próximos Juegos es "Celebre con Encanto Sunshine". Los eventos se llevarán a cabo en dos centros, la popular playa de Patong y Karon Beach, en la isla de Phuket.

The delegation of the Kurash Confederation of Asia attends the OCA meeting in Thailand one year ahead of the Asian Beach Games.

Exactly in one year time from now Thailand will be hosting the 4th Asian Beach Games which will be held on 14-23 November 2014.

Kurash was confirmed last month as an official sport in the official competition program of the Asian Beach Games in Thailand along with other seven sports.

The 1st OCA-PABGOC-TD meeting in Phuket will last for two days and concentrate on technical and organizational matters to be settled between the OCA, Organizing committee and technical delegates representing each participating sport.

The KCA delegation in Phuket is leaded by the IKA Vice President and the President of the Kurash Confederation of Asia Mr. Haider Farman (Kuwait), who represents the Olympic Council of Asia at this meeting.

Thailand has been a strong supporter of the OCA events for many years, and the Thais will break new ground in 2014 when they host the popular Asian Beach Games for the first time in the resort paradise of Phuket. This will be the 4th Asian Beach Games organized under the umbrella of the Olympic Council of Asia, following Bali (Indonesia) in 2008, Muscat (Oman) in 2010 and Haiyang (China).

The slogan of the upcoming Games is “Celebrate Charming Sunshine”. The events will be held in two centers, popular Patong Beach and Karon Beach of the Phuket Island.

Fue notificada a la Unión Panamericana de Kurash, UPK, la formación de la Confederación Brasileira de Kurash, CBKurash, la que esta presidida por el profesor Paulo Dubois.

Dubois tiene un alto reconocimiento en Brasil por su dedicación a las actividades deportivas.

It was the Panamerican Kurash Union, PKU, notified the formation of the Brazilian Kurash Confederation, CBKurash, which is chaired by Paulo Dubois.

Dubois has a high recognition in Brazil for his dedication to sports activities.

IKA delegation attends Peace and Sport Forum 2013/Delegacion de IKA participa en el Foro Paz y Deporte 2013.

The delegation of the International Kurash Association took part at the opening ceremony of the 7th edition of the Peace and Sport International Forum held in Monaco today.

The Forum is organized by the “Peace and Sport Organization”(«L’Organisation pour la Paix par le Sport”) an international organization based in the Principality of Monaco and placed under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco.

Peace and Sport is an initiative with the goal of making sport a vehicle for tolerance, respect, sharing and citizenship at the service of sustainable peace.

Supported by governments, world sport governing bodies, international organizations, major international private companies and international sports champions, Peace and Sport creates synergies between different stakeholders to carry out its objectives.

The flagship event of the organization is the Peace and Sport International Forum held annually in Monaco. This year this event gathered together more than 700 influential decision-makers and high-profile leaders from world sport governance, politics, International Organizations, NGOs and the private sector, plus academics and top-level athletes from over 100 countries.

The opening ceremony of the Forum took place at the famous Opera Garnier and was participated by the several leaders of states, IOC members, ministers of foreign affairs and sport ministers from around the world, NOC presidents and presidents of international sport federations and associations, like IOC member Prince Albert II of Monaco, ANOC and OCA President, KCA Honorary President Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah, EOC President and EKC Honorary President Patrick Hickey, IOC Executive board member Willi Kaltschmitt, IOC member and Adviser to the IKA President Irena Szewinska and many other dignitaries.

La delegación de la Asociación Internacional Kurash participó en la ceremonia de apertura de la séptima edición de la Paz y el Foro Internacional del Deporte celebrado hoy en Mónaco.

El Foro está organizado por la "Organización de la Paz y el Deporte" («L'Organisation pour la Paix par le Sport"), una organización internacional con sede en el Principado de Mónaco y se coloca bajo el alto patrocinio del Príncipe Alberto II de Mónaco.

Paz y el Deporte es una iniciativa con el objetivo de hacer del deporte un vehículo para la tolerancia, el respeto, el compartir y la ciudadanía al servicio de la paz sostenible.

Con el apoyo de los gobiernos, los órganos rectores del deporte mundial, las organizaciones internacionales, las grandes empresas privadas internacionales y campeones deportivos internacionales, la Paz y el Deporte crea sinergias entre los diferentes grupos de interés para llevar a cabo sus objetivos.

El evento principal de la organización es la Paz y el Foro Internacional de Deporte que se celebra anualmente en Mónaco. Este año el evento reunió a más de 700 influyentes tomadores de decisiones y líderes de alto perfil del mundo del deporte de gobierno, la política, las organizaciones internacionales, organizaciones no gubernamentales y el sector privado, además de académicos y deportistas de alto nivel de más de 100 países.

La ceremonia de apertura del Foro tuvo lugar en la famosa Ópera Garnier donde participaron los diversos líderes de los estados, los miembros del COI, los ministros de relaciones exteriores y ministros de deporte de todo el mundo, los presidentes de los CON y los presidentes de las federaciones y asociaciones deportivas internacionales, como miembro del COI, el Príncipe Alberto II de Mónaco, y el Presidente de ACNO OCA, KCA Presidente Honorario Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah, Presidente de los COE y presidente honorario EKC Patrick Hickey, miembro de la junta ejecutiva del COI Willi Kaltschmitt, miembro del COI y Asesor del Presidente IKA Irena Szewinska y muchos otros dignatarios.

The IKA delegation members have a number of meetings with high profile participants of the Forum, including HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco.

The three day Forum will continue with plenary sessions, workshops and networking sessions aimed at sharing ideas on how sport can bring a tangible contribution to peace processes and peace-building projects around the globe. The Forum will be concluded with the ceremony to award the winners of this year’s prestigious Peace and Sport Award.
