dcist2013 - CopiaHoy 15 de noviembre de 2014, iniciaron de las Competiciones Oficiales de Kurash en el marco de los IV Juegos Asiáticos de Playa comenzaron Con Éxito en Phuket, Tailandia.
El primer día de la Competición ofrecio Combates en Menos de 52 kg Mujeres y Hombres en 66 kg.
El Evento Conto Con La Presencia de un Gran Número de espectadores, Medios de comunicación y Una serie de Funcionarios de Alto Rango en Representación del COI, el Consejo Olímpico de Asia y los Comités Olímpicos Nacionales de Asia, un sable, el Miembro del COI, El Presidente de la Asociación de Comités Olímpicos Nacionales de África, el Presidente Honorario de la Kurash Africana Unión General Lassana Palenfo (Costa de Marfil), el Consejo Olímpico de Asia VICEPRESIDENTE Dr. Hoang Vinh Giang (Vietnam), el Vice-Presidente Honorario Vitalicio de la Oca Sr. Jizhong Wei (China) y Otros.

Asian Beach Games — Day 1

dcist2013 - CopyToday on 15 November 2014 the official Beach Kurash competitions in the framework of the 4th Asian Beach Games successfully started in Phuket, Thailand.
The first day of the competition offered bouts in under 52 kg women and under 66 kg men.
The event was attended by a large number of spectators, media and a number of high ranking officials representing the IOC, the Olympic Council of Asia and National Olympic Committees of Asia, namely the IOC member, the President of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa, the Honorary President of the African Kurash Union General Lassana Palenfo (Ivory Coast), Olympic Council of Asia Vice President Dr. Hoang Vinh Giang (Vietnam), the Honorary Life Vice President of the OCA Mr. Jizhong Wei (China) and others.

The official results of the first competition day are as follows:
Women under 52 kg

KCA holds Ordinary Congress

dcist2013 - CopyThe Ordinary Congress of the Kurash Confederation of Asia took place today on 14 November in Thailand, Phuket at the Duangjitt Resort and Spa conference hall under the chairmanship of Mr. Haider A. Farman, the IKA President and the KCA President and the Director of the Asian Games Department of the Olympic Council of Asia. Various matters of the activity of the Kurash Confederation of Asia in 2014 and plans for 2015-2016 were discussed.
Tomorrow, on 15 November the three day Beach Kurash competitions will start in the program of the 4th Asian Beach Games in Phuket, Thailand. Today the official draw in all weight categories was made.
On 15 November the competitions will be held in two weight categories – women under 52 kg and men under 66 kg.
On 16 November the players will compete for medals in three weights – women under 57 kg and men under 73 and 81 kg.
On 17 November the Kurash competitions will be concluded with bouts in following weight categories – women under 63 kg and men under 90 and over 90 kg.

Thailand welcomes Asian Beach Games

dcist2013 - CopyFrom 14 to 23 November 2014 the Phuket Island in Thailand will host the 4th Asian Beach Games.
This continental multi-sport event is organized by the Olympic Council of Asia every two years in most prominent beach resorts across Asia.
This year’s event will host the official Beach Kurash competitions for the first time in history. It’s widely known that Kurash, having the history of more than 3500 years, was initially played on sand and ground, so it is true to say that Kurash in Phuket Games is returning to its natural origins.
The Games will be participated by several thousand players and officials coming from 45 Asian nations. More than 20 beach sport will feature in the program of the Games, with competitions in all disciplines held at different famous beaches of the Phuket Island.
The opening ceremony of the Games will be held on 14 November at Sapan Hin.
The Beach Kurash competitions will start on 15 November and last for three days till 17 November. The competition venue for Kurash is the famous beach Patong Central.

Swaziland hosted the XII African Championships

dcist2013 - CopyThe African Kurash Union and the Swaziland Kurash Association successfully hosted the XII African Kurash continental championships among seniors and juniors under 20 in Malkerns, Swaziland.
Africa is one of the first continents which started to hold the continental Kurash championships. The first continental Kurash championships in Africa was held in 2001 in South Africa, and since then the continental event was hosted annually in different parts of Africa by countries like South Africa, Morocco, Madagascar, Mauritius, Zambia and others.
The African championship 2014 in the south-east African national of Swaziland was a well attended event with senior and junior male and female players and officials coming from various parts of the continents from countries like the Republic of South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mozambique and others, despite the ongoing issues related to Ebola virus in the continent.
