Taipei successfully hosted the AsianChampionships
On August 5-6, 2013 the capital of Chinese Taipei, the Taipei city hosted the the Asian Junior and Cadet Championships.
The first day of the championships featured the competitions among Junior under 20 boys and girls. On the second day Cadets under 16 competed for the title of Asian Champion.
The competition venue in the center of Taipei welcomed more than 200 junior and cadet players representing more than 20 countries from around Asian continent.
The opening ceremony of the championships was attended by the President of the International Kurash Association Mr. Komil Yusupov, the Mayor of the New Taipei city Government Dr. Eric Liluan Chu, the President of the Chinese Taipei Kurash Federation Mr. Chang, several Taipei parliament members, local VIPs and dignitaries.
Around fifty Taipei mass media outlets (television stations, radio, newspapers, news and sports information websites) covered the opening ceremony and the competitions of the Asian Junior and Cadet Championships in Chinese Taipei.

Taipei acogió con éxito el Campeonato de AsiaEn agosto 5 a 6 2013 la ciudad de Taipei fue sede del Campeonato Asiático de Kurash Cadet y Junior.La primera jornada del campeonato contó con las competiciones entre los junior de menos de 20 niños y niñas.En el segundo día cadetes menores de 16 años compitieron por el título de campeón de Asia. La sala de competencia en el centro de Taipei recibió a más de 200 junior jugadores cadetes que representan a más de 20 países de todo continente asiático. A la ceremonia de inauguración de los campeonatos asistieron el Presidente de la Asociación Internacional Kurash Sr. Komil Yusupov, el Alcalde de la New Taipei City Government Dr. Eric Liluan Chu, el Presidente de la Federación de China Taipei Kurash Sr. Chang, varios miembros del parlamento de Taipei, VIPs y dignatarios locales.
