In compliance with the rules of the WADA– World Anti-Doping Agency, the International Kurash Association announces the disqualification of the player for using the prohibited substance.
The player who has breached the anti-doping rules is Tukhtashov Sanjar representing Uzbekistan.
The analysis of his urine sample collected during the Asian Beach Games in Phuket, Thailand in November 2014 showed the presence of the prohibited substance 19-norandrosterone which is the Anabolic Agent.
In accordance with the WADA rules, the player is disqualified for two years period starting from 24 November 2014.
Also his result achieved at the Asian Beach Games, where he has won the gold medal in under 81 kg males category is cancelled.
The medal redistribution in this weight category will be announced by the Olympic Council of Asia, the owner of the Asian Beach Games.
