Preparatory seminar for VI Children of Asia Games 2016 / Seminario de preparacion para los VI Juegos Asiaticos 2016

The Organizing Committee of the VI Children of Asia 2016 International Games in cooperation with the International Kurash Association held a three day seminar in Yakutsk, Russia.
The Children of Asia Games are the multi-sport international event held first in 1996 for the children aged under 16.
These Games are organized every four years under the patronage of the Olympic Council of Asia, UNESCO, the Russian NOC and the Sport Ministry and the government of Yakutia.
The VIth edition of the Games to be held In Yakutsk from 5 to 15 July 2016 will be featuring for the first time the Kurash competition in its official program.
The seminar was conducted by the IKA Technical Director Mr. Reza Nassiri. The first part of the seminar held at the University of Yakutsk was dedicated to the theory of Kurash rules and Kurash competitions organization system. The participants of this part of the seminar would be working as technical officials and officers for the Kurash competition at the Games.
The second part of the seminar was held at two different competition venues. It was dedicated to practical training course for local Kurash coaches, referees and players.
At the end of the seminar young Kurash players from Yakutsk received Kurash uniform Yaktakh as a gift from the IKA.
