 Fedokurash realza el Dia Internacional de la Juventud este 12 de agosto 2024

Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.- Este 12 de agosto 2024 en el Dia Internacional de la Juventud la Republica Dominicana tiene fieles exponentes que exhibir en esta fecha ya que al finalizar los Juegos Olímpicos de la XXXIII Olimpiada, Paris 2024 podemos resaltar  la medalla de oro en los 400 metros planos de Marileidy Paulino y las dos medallas de bronce de los boxeadores Cristian Pinales y Yunior Alcántara.

Es pues que la Federación Dominicana de Kurash se une a la celebración del Dia Internacional de la Juventud de manera significativa y regocijados por esos grandes triunfos presentes y el futuro que representan y auguran en el deporte nacional.

El Dia Internacional de la Juventus se celebra cada año el 12 de agosto ya que fue designado así por la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas el 17 de diciembre 1999 para reconocer el papel esencial de la juventud y su importancia como entes activos para un verdadero cambio social y desarrollo sostenible y es que esos jóvenes significan un motor de cambio gracias a su vitalidad. pasión y creatividad. 
El lema del Dia Internacional de la Juventud 2024 es "De los clics al al progreso : Vías digitales de la juventud para el desarrollo sostenible", lo que resalta y hace hincapié en el papel de la tecnología digital en manos de los jóvenes en la consecución de los Objetivos del Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS).

"Esos atributos en la juventud de vitalidad, pasión y creatividad son los que impulsan el desarrollo de la disciplina de kurash en la Republica Dominicana por medio de las respectivas asociaciones que representan la juventud con torneos, clínicas de arbitraje, concursos de pintura, charlas sobre el origen de esta disciplina, en fin, todos en conjunto al Comité Ejecutivo integrados a esta celebración del Dia Internacional de la Juventud 2024", así se expreso el doctor Israel Agustín Caraballo Jiménez en su condición de presidente de la Fedokurash.

International Juventus Day is celebrated every year on 12 August, having been designated as such by the United Nations General Assembly on 17 December 1999 to recognise the essential role of youth and their importance as active agents for true social change and sustainable development.
These young people are a driving force for change thanks to their vitality, passion and creativity.

The motto of International Youth Day 2024 is "From clicks to progress: Digital pathways for youth to sustainable development", which highlights and emphasises the role of digital technology in the hands of young people in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
"These attributes of vitality, passion and creativity in youth are what drive the development of the kurash discipline in the Dominican Republic through the respective associations that represent youth with tournaments, refereeing clinics, painting contests, talks on the origin of this discipline, in short, all together with the Executive Committee integrated into this celebration of the International Youth Day 2024," said Dr. Israel Agustín Caraballo Jiménez in his capacity as president of the Fedokurash.
