Official meeting Chinese Taipei National Olympic Committee

On March 5, 2015 the IKA President Mr Haider A. Farman had a formal meeting with the delegation of the Chinese Taipei National Olympic Committee headed by its President Mr Lin Hong-Dow.
The meeting took place at the Headquarters of the Olympic Council of Asia in Kuwait city, Kuwait.
The sides discussed various matters of mutual interest, in particular the development of Kurash in Taipei and the support the Chinese Taipei NOC given to the national Kurash federation of this south-east Asian country.
Chinese Taipei enjoys a great background in Kurash both in winning medals at different international events including World Kurash championships and various editions of Asian Games, as well as staging large Kurash international events, most notably the Asian Junior and Cadet champs in 2013.
In 2015 Taipei will host the first ever Asian Beach Open Championships which will be held on 1-2 August, following the great success of the Beach Kurash competitions at the 4th Asian Beach Games in Phuket, Thailand in 2014.
