Santo Domingo, República Dominicana.- El Comité Ejecutivo de la Federación Dominicana de Kurash (Fedokurash) anuncia la celebración del Día Nacional del Kurash en lo que ha sido una tradición cada 23 de febrero.
La Fedokurash a solicitado a sus clubes y asociaciones afiliadas que para la fecha natalicia efectúan eventos competitivos intramuros, charlas sobre el origen de esta ancestral disciplina deportiva, explosiones fotográficas y de afiches, clínicas de arbitraje, exhibiciones, campamentos de entrenamiento, concursos de pintura referentes la actividad , entre otros certámenes.
Las asociaciones afiliadas contándose entre ellas las de las provincias de Azua, Peravia, San Cristobal, Distrito Nacional, Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macoris, Monte Plata, La Vega, San Juan, Duarte, Hermanas Mirabal, Sanchez Ramirez, entre otras.
"Existe un excelente ambiente entre atletas, entrenadores, árbitros y dirigentes para la celebración del Día Nacional del Kurash donde rememoramos la fundación de la Fedokurash como una gran actividad a nivel nacional", asevero el profesor Israel Caraballo, presidente de la entidad federada.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- The Executive Committee of the Dominican Kurash Federation (Fedokurash) announces the celebration of the National Day of Kurash in what has been a tradition every 23 February.
The Fedokurash has asked its affiliated clubs and associations to hold intramural competitive events, talks about the origin of this ancestral sports discipline, photo and poster explosions, refereeing clinics, exhibitions, training camps, painting contests the activity, among other events.
Affiliated associations including those of the provinces of Azua, Peravia, San Cristobal, National District, Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macoris, Monte Plata, La Vega, San Juan, Duarte, Mirabal Sisters, Sanchez Ramirez, among others.
"There is an excellent atmosphere among athletes, coaches, referees and leaders for the celebration of the National Day of Kurash where we remember the founding of Fedokurash as a great activity at the national level," said Professor Israel Caraballo, president of the federated entity.
