Concluye con Éxito Total el III Torneo Internacional de Playa Abierto de Kurash
Boca Chica, República Dominicana.- La tercera versión del Torneo Internacional Playero con la organización de la Federación Dominicana de Kurash, Fedokurash y el aval de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash, UPK, finalizó en las blancas arenas de esta paradisiaca playa del litoral dominicano.
El certamen atlético se presentaron atletas representado a Chile, Argentina, Venezuela y los locales de la República Dominicana los que hicieron gala de sus mejores técnicas durante el torneo.
En la división de los 66 kilogramos el metal aurífero fue para el peleador Josias Vizcaíno y la plata fue obtenida por Anderson Liriano, el bronce lo logro Enmanuel Martinez todos de nacionalidad dominicana.
Los 73 kilogramos fueron ganados por Israel Caraballo Puello, dominicano, y por su lado Alexis Antileo, argentino logró la medalla de plata para que Sebastian Zapata, chileno, colocarse la presea de bronce.
En los de más de 100 kilogramos el peleador argentino Mariano Rodriguez logró la medalla de oro, Juan Poblete la de plata en representación de Chile y el bronce para Edgardo Roque de la República Dominicana.
En las féminas de los 63 kilogramos la dominicana Yoeliza Contreras obtuvo el oro, la venezolana Yuneska Leo la plata y para Yuleidy Rosario, dominicana, logro el bronce ante una gran cantidad de público que hizo del certamen un espectáculo.
La delegación de Chile la dirige Elizaberh Thompson y la de Argentina Pablo Saul Cosentino quienes realizaron las correspondientes premiaciones junto al ingeniero Jaime Casanova Martinez en su calidad presidente de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash, UPK.
Esta es la tercera versión del llamado Kurash de Playa que se realiza año tras año contando con la organización de la Fedokurash que preside el profesor Israel Caraballo Jimenez quien previó al inicio de los combates se dirigió a los presentes al agradecerles la presencia.
“Este es el Kurash tradicional desde sus inicios hace más de 3500 años en Uzbekistán y desarrolló pleno en toda el Asia Central donde se le denomina como la madre de todas las Artes Marciales”, dijo el profesor Caraballo JImenez al despedir la actividad.

The III International Open Beach Tournament of Kurash concludes with Total Success.
Boca Chica, Dominican Republic.- The third version of the International Beach Tournament with the organization of the Dominican Kurash Federation, Fedokurash and the endorsement of the Panamerican Kurash Union, PKU, ended in the white sands of this paradisiacal beach on the Dominican coast.
The athletic contest presented athletes represented to Chile, Argentina, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic locals who showed off their best techniques during the tournament.
In the division of the 66 kilograms the gold metal was for the fighter Josias Vizcaino and the silver was obtained by Anderson Liriano, the bronze was achieved by Enmanuel Martinez, all Dominican nationality.
