Desde 2016 la Fedokurash en el marco de la Semana Panamericana del Kurash realiza el Torneo Internacional de Kurash de Playa donde participan ininterrumpidamente varios paises como Chile, Brasil, Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Panama, México, Estados Unidos, Haití y República Dominicana, entre otros.

El escenario preferido de estas competiciones ha sido la afrodisíaca y popular Playa de Boca Chica en la República Dominicana lo que le ha dado a las competidores el marco de difusión internacional por la gran afluencia de turistas de diferentes nacionalidades que, disfrutando de la blanca arena, cileo azul intenso y un excitante sol caribeño han estado presentes en las referidas competiciones, al igual que el numeroso publico nativo.
Normalmente este Torneo Internacional de Kurash Playa se desarrolla en el marco de la Semana Panamericana de la disciplina
que además cuenta en la realizacion de Seminarios, Cursos de Capacitación y Examinaciones, así mismo, los Campeonatos Panamericanos sobre tapiz tanto en infantil, juvenil y senior en femenino y masculino los que se realizan en el Centro Olímpico Juan Pablo Duarte de la capital dominicana.

Esas Semanas Panamericanas de Kurash han tenido en su programación de los años 2023 y 2024 las clasificaciones del World Series Pro (WSP) como relevante evento de esta disciplina originaria
de Uzbekistan y con una elevada aceptacion en toda el Asia Central desde su protocolizacion en 6 de septiembre 1998 en Tashkent con la formacion de la International Kurash Association (IKA)

En fin, República Dominicana y otras Federaciones Nacionales han desarrollado eventos de Kurash Playa lo que ha permitido la difusión de esta modalidad en el continente americano de la mano de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash.

El 2do.Torneo Internacional de Kurash Playa se desarrolló el sábado 9 de diciembre 2017 repitiendo la tradicional sede de la turística Boca Chica siendo del deleite de los turistas de visitan este país caribeño y público en general.

El 4to. Torneo Internacional de Kurash Playa en el marco de las actividades de la Semana Panamericana del Kurash fue realizado el viernes 29 de noviembre 2019 y la acostumbrada organización de la Federación Dominicana de Kurash (Fedokurash) que preside el doctor Israel Agustín Caraballo Jiménez.

Así, el 5to. Torneo Internacional de Kurash de Playa o como lo designan los dominicanos como Kurash Playero regreso lunes el 12 de diciembre 2022 logrando cada vez más aceptación entre los atletas y directivos de las diferentes Federaciones Nacionales presentes. Este fue realizado en las instalaciones del Centro Olimpico Juan Pablo Duarte en la ciudad de Santo Domingo.

Como cada año el 7mo Torneo Internacional de Kurash de Playa se desarrolló en Boca Chica el domingo 7 de julio 2024 y que al igual que las anteriores versiones han sido una importante base para la difusión de esta modalidad de la disciplina a nivel contienetal con amplia repercusión a nivel
internacional.

En estos eventos de las Semanas Panamericanas del Kurash hemos tenido la presencia de diferentes personalidades contándose entre ellas Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov y Mohamed Reza Nassiri, quienes son vicepresidente y secretario general, respectivamente, de la International Kurash Association y Habibulla Tadjiev en su condición de Rector del International Kurash Institute (IKI), entre otros.
Para este 2025 los días 14 y 15 de junio volveremos a ver las competiciones de Kurash Playa con la organización de la Federación
Dominicana de Kurash, Fedokurash, y el aval de la Unión Panamericana (UPK) de la disciplina bajo la normativa de la International Kurash Association (IKA)

El Comite Ejecutivo de la Fedokurash que se encarga de organizar estos eventos internacionales esta integrado por Israel Caraballo Jimenez, Aquimedes Ortiz Cruz, Jaime Casanova Martinez, Fanny Mendoza y Kemilk , quienes son presidente, vicepresidente, secretario, tesorera y vocal, respectivamente.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic – The Dominican Kurash Federation (Fedokurash), together with the Panamerican Kurash Union, has been a vital supporter of beach competitions in this ancient discipline, which dates back more than 3,500 years.
Since 2016, Fedokurash has held the International Beach Kurash Tournament as part of the Pan-American Kurash Week. Several countries, including Chile, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Panama, Mexico, the United States, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic, among others, have participated continuously.
The preferred venue for these competitions has been the aphrodisiac and popular Boca Chica Beach in the Dominican Republic, which has given the competitors an international exposure due to the large influx of tourists of different nationalities who, along with the numerous native public, have been present at the aforementioned competitions, enjoying the white sand, intense blue sky, and exciting Caribbean sun. This International Beach Kurash Tournament normally takes place within the framework of the Pan American Week for the discipline, which also includes seminars, training courses, and examinations. It also includes the Pan American Carpet Championships for children, youth, and senior men and women, held at the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center in the Dominican capital.
These Pan American Kurash Weeks have included the World Series Pro (WSP) qualifications in their 2023 and 2024 schedules, as a relevant event for this discipline originating in Uzbekistan and enjoying widespread acceptance throughout Central Asia since its formalization on September 6, 1998, in Tashkent, with the formation of the International Kurash Association (IKA).
Finally, the Dominican Republic and other National Federations have developed Beach Kurash events, which have allowed the dissemination of this sport throughout the Americas through the Panamerican Kurash Union.
The 1st International Beach Kurash Tournament 2016 was held on Saturday, December 3rd, in the beach resort of Boca Chica, marking a milestone with the introduction of this colorful competitive form of this martial art.

The 2nd International Beach Kurash Tournament took place on Saturday, December 9th, 2017, repeating the traditional venue in the tourist resort of Boca Chica, delighting tourists visiting this Caribbean country and the general public.
On Saturday, December 8th, 2018, we held the 3rd International Beach Kurash Tournament, with the participation of athletes from the various countries participating in the Panamerican Kurash Week.
The 4th International Beach Kurash Tournament, as part of the Pan-American Kurash Week activities, was held on Friday, November 29th, 2019, and was organized by the Dominican Kurash Federation (Fedokurash), chaired by Dr. Israel Agustín Caraballo Jiménez.
In 2020 and 2021, the Pan American Kurash Week activities were suspended due to the outbreak of COVID-19, which triggered a pandemic that took several months to overcome.
Thus, the 5th International Beach Kurash Tournament, or as Dominicans call it, Beach Kurash, returned on Monday, December 12, 2022, gaining increasing acceptance among the athletes and officials of the various National Federations present. It was held at the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center in Santo Domingo.
The 6th International Beach Kurash Tournament was held in 2023, on Sunday, August 27, and was traditionally held in Boca Chica, having to overcome the inclement weather caused by Tropical Storm Franklin.
As every year, the 7th International Beach Kurash Tournament took place in Boca Chica on Sunday, July 7, 2024. Like previous editions, it has served as an important foundation for the dissemination of this sport at the continental level, achieving widespread international repercussions.
At these Pan American Kurash Week events, we have had the presence of various personalities, including Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov and Mohamed Reza Nassiri, who are Vice President and Secretary General, respectively, of the International Kurash Association, and Habibulla Tadjiev, Rector of the International Kurash Institute (IKI), among others. For this 2025, on June 14 and 15, we will once again see the Beach Kurash competitions organized by the Dominican Kurash Federation, Fedokurash, and endorsed by the Pan American Union (UPK) of the discipline under the regulations of the International Kurash Association (IKA).
The Fedokurash Executive Committee, which is responsible for organizing these international events, is composed of Israel Caraballo Jimenez, Aquimedes Ortiz Cruz, Jaime Casanova Martinez, Fanny Mendoza, and Kemilk, who are the president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and member, respectively.
