The World Senior Kurash Championship competitions have started / Las competiciones del Campeonato Mundial Senior de Kurash han comenzado

Pune, India.- The magnificent Shivachhatrapati Sports Complex in the city of Pune is in the spotlight of the world kurash.

Since today, athletes from more than 60 countries are taking part in competitions in Shivachhatrapati.

Initially, according to Indian traditions, a coconut was split, a ribbon was cut and flower petals were scattered.

Kurash competitions were started by IKA Secretary General, Technical Director Mohammad Reza Nassiri and President of the Kurash Association of India Ramesh Pople.

According to the championship program, athletes in 6 weight categories will compete today. Men will compete in the weight categories of 60, -66, -73 kg, and women 78, -87, +87 kg.

Competitions are led by an experienced team of referees of the International Kurash Association.

According to the today’s program, official opening ceremony of the Championship will take place before the semifinals and finals.

The championship competitions are broadcast directly through the Youtube platform and several local TV channels.

Pune, India.- El magnífico Complejo Deportivo Shivachhatrapati en la ciudad de Pune está en el punto de mira del kurash mundial.

Desde hoy, atletas de más de 60 países participan en competencias en Shivachhatrapati.

Inicialmente, según las tradiciones indias, se partía un coco, se cortaba una cinta y se esparcían pétalos de flores.

Las competencias de Kurash fueron iniciadas por el Secretario General de IKA, el Director Técnico Mohammad Reza Nassiri y el Presidente de la Asociación de Kurash de la India, Ramesh Pople.

De acuerdo con el programa del campeonato, hoy competirán atletas en 6 categorías de peso. Los hombres competirán en las categorías de peso de 60, -66, -73 kg y las mujeres de 78, -87, +87 kg.

Las competiciones están dirigidas por un experimentado equipo de árbitros de la Asociación Internacional de Kurash.

Según el programa de hoy, la ceremonia oficial de apertura del Campeonato tendrá lugar antes de las semifinales y la final.

Las competencias del campeonato se transmiten directamente a través de la plataforma de Youtube y varios canales de televisión locales.
